Missing menstruation
The absence of menstruation can have many causes, the essence of which is often that the body has insufficient strength (or attention) to reproduce. The absence of menstruation can have many causes, the essence of which is often that the body has insufficient strength (or attention) to reproduce. The most basic causes are underweight and overweight (overweight often due to PCOS). Trauma or cultural beliefs, in which the (sexual) experience of the body and womanhood is denied, can (in my opinion) be the cause of devitalizing blockages in the pelvic area. Symptoms vary widely and can go so far as to require the removal of the uterus, ovaries and/or breasts in the case of cancer, among other things. Furthermore, it is difficult for many women's bodies to start menstruation after stopping the pill. You often see that when the body ‘turns on’, for example due to a strong crush, menstruation also starts again.
My overall advice is to focus on arousing your female sexuality and sensuality. By this I mean something completely different from ‘the masculine‘ masturbate and cum… Try to create moments for yourself, where you listen to your body, and give yourself and your feelings love, space and warmth.
- Dance to your favorite music, and enjoy the movements of your pelvic area
- Put a hand on your lower abdomen regularly, feel your breath under your hand.
- Massage your breasts regularly, in a way that feels comfortable to you, this can be difficult, especially if you are far from your body experience cedes.
- Use a hot water bottle regularly, on your lower abdomen or against your vulva between your legs
- Get a Yoni Steam
- Take time for self-de-armouring
You can work well with a yoni egg for this, be loving to yourself, and play, discover, and above all… Enjoy your sexuality.
Furthermore, if you are underweight, it is important to aim for a weight that is more in line with your BMI. Complicated hormonal imbalances often play a role in obesity, losing weight will help, and I will tell you more later in the blog that follows.
