Here you will find more information about both the hygienic cleansing of your yoni egg and other products, as well as the more energetic/spiritual cleansing.

Hygienic cleaning before first use

The products you buy on my website (although they are sealed) have not been hygienically cleaned.
Before the first use, I recommend hygienically cleaning the product. This can be done with warm water and soap, but it is better to clean the egg at a higher temperature of +/- 85*C the first time. The polishing of the gemstones is done with a wax that melts at 75*C, there may still be a layer of this wax on your egg or in the hole. To do this, slowly heat the product in a pan of water at room temperature. Pay attention to temperature fluctuations. Large differences in temperature in the glass or crystal can create fracture surfaces, and you don't want that. It is therefore important that the bottom of the pan is not much hotter than the rest of the water. The best way is to do this au bain marie, with your product in a pan or bowl with water, and then put it back in a pan with water that you place on the fire, with the bottom of the 2nd pan or bowl does not touch the bottom of the 1st pan.

Hygienic cleaning after (intimate) use

Certainly when using a pierced yoni egg, I recommend washing your egg under the tap with warm water and a mild soap immediately after each use. If your egg is pierced, you can clean the hole after use by taking some water in your mouth and 'blowing' it through the hole. When you purchase you will receive one brush with which you can clean the hole. If you want to order more or new brushes, you can do so here.

Energistically cleansing

For your own process and connection with the egg (or wall), I recommend regularly energetically cleansing the egg. If you work intensively on releasing emotions and/or trauma, some people experience that gemstones are, as it were, ‘full’ hit with released energy. I am quite rational myself, and it is difficult to explain this experience, but on a personal level you can imagine that you can clean up your relationship with the egg a bit, in my opinion it is mainly about your own feelings and that you pay your attention. may bring to that not only you, but also the egg may let go of the released matters. This then becomes a more symbolic process of attention, contemplation and feeling within yourself.
Energetic cleansing can be done in different ways, specific methods are recommended for specific types of stone, you can easily look this up on the internet.
I advise you to do what feels good for you.
The great thing about energetic cleansing is that you can apply the 4 different elements:

• Clean with air
  • Imagine that you are blowing away tensions, or putting the egg outside in the wind, also the combination with, for example, burning palo santo (sacred wood)
  • You can use, for example, a feather or wing to spread air around your egg.
• Cleaning with fire
  • Cleaning in the smoke of paulo santo; you can lock your egg in a box or something else
• Clean with (preferably running) water
  • Under the tap, in the sea or in a river
  • As an extra, you can use sea salt (a double element, both earth and water)
• Cleaning with soil
  • Bury your stone in the earth. A good time for this is the new moon. A tip is to stick a cocktail stick through the hole in your egg, so that no soil gets into the hole.
  • Add salt to the running water you use
  • Cleaning with other gemstones: for example on a bed of Hematite or Shungite (absorbing), rock crystal or selenite (transforming). These small stones are also called chips.

See if you can perform the above in a ritual attention with yourself and the yoni egg or yoni wand. The more connected you feel to your ritual, the stronger its effect will be.

A powerful addition could be, for example, to summarize what you have released with the egg in the past session(s). You can possibly write this down on paper and burn it in gratitude. Do this with the egg with you in the ritual.
